Face Shop Aura Color Control Cream Review

Rabu, Mei 29, 2013

CC Cream is really booming nowadays.
What is CC Cream?
CC Cream or Color Control Cream is upgraded version of BB Cream. While BB Cream was manufactured primarily as a skincare product, CC Cream was developed to retain all the skincare benefits of BB Cream with added nourishing ingredients and the additional aim to provide more effective skin coverage. CC Cream was formulated with technology originating in Japan and further developed in Korea. (credits: wikipedia)

Actually I want to make a comparison post between Etude House and Face Shop CC Cream but I forget where did I put my Etude House CC Cream. ;_; I can't find it anywhere so I decided to make this post first. If I can find it later, I will post about Etude House CC Cream, okay?

Compared to other infamous Korean brands like Etude House, Tony Moly, Nature Republic, and Skin Food, this CC Cream is quite expensive, around 22 or 23 USD. Is the quality worth the money?

As usual, I bought the second shade: natural beige.

Clear definitions and ingredients on both side of the packaging.

Aura CC Cream comes in a compact packaging that is quite bulky. The packaging is in really pale pink colour.

Best to use until one year after opening the product.

It comes with a nice mirror and puff. I always apply the CC Cream with the puff provided and it's great for touch-up.

When you put aside the puff, you can see this sticker. Remove it before use and you have to pump it several times. I was thinking that the product won't coming out since I have pumped it so many times but nothing came out. -,-

The cream is in beige colour, not different with BB Cream, eh?
The CC cream has a nice texture, it's creamy and has a nice scent. The scent is quite strong but will fade away few minutes after applying the cream.

What surprise me is the coverage. Although it's not a comparison post, but I can't help not to compare it with Etude House CC Cream. While Etude House CC Cream provides so minimum or no coverage at all, this CC Cream coverage is just buildable! You can have medium coverage with it plus glowy skin. (^0^)/

See what I mean? I have been using it for around one month and now for my everyday look, this CC Cream is enough. I don't need to apply concealer and powder anymore since I want to have as minimum makeup as I can, to help my skin gets better. :3

What I like:
 buildable, medium coverage
 gives glowy effect
 easy to touch-up
 nice puff included
 can buy refill

What I dislike:
 it's a bit pricey

I really recommend this CC Cream for you who want to try CC Cream and wants a buildable coverage one. Although it's a bit pricey but it's worth the money ^^

So what's your favourite CC Cream?
